Each year, tens of thousands of women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer. More women will die than will live from
the disease.
The more than 22,000 women diagnosed with ovarian cancer each year in the U.S. now have a powerful force in their
corner in pursuing prevention and cure. Ovations for the Cure is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to
supporting the research, patient treatment and awareness of ovarian cancer. They support this by proliferating
broad-spectrum awareness of the risk factors and subtle warning signs of ovarian cancer and through the continued
support of new and ongoing ovarian cancer research and treatment initiatives.
As a referral source, Ovations refers their low-income cancer patients to No Wooden Nickels for comprehensive expense assistance
through our MedStart-5 program. Ovations is committed as are we in not only our battle against cancer but to erradicating
all of its associated perils. Cancer knows no socio-economic status and for low-income patients receiving such
